How do public holidays impact my settlements and payouts?
Settlements on public holidays may fall outside your regular schedule on public holidays. Here's what to expect and how to plan ahead.
Running a busy venue means cash flow matters. Here's what to know about how public holidays affect your Oolio Pay settlements, so there are no surprises. What's in this article:

Who does this impact?
Not every merchant will see a change in their payout schedule. Some merchants are on payout plans that include public holidays, if that's you, your schedule stays the same. Keep an eye on your inbox, for emails from us to confirm which applies to your venue.
For merchants whose payouts are affected, here's how it works depending on your acquirer:

Global Acquirer You'll receive 2 deposits on your next payout day, one for the weekend and one for the public holiday. This will match with your payout in the Pay dashboard |
Local Acquirer You'll receive one deposit per trading day. After a long weekend, those days stack up, so expect around 4 deposits to arrive together on your next payout day. |
What to expect?
Your payout may arrive later than usual. Any funds due on a public holiday will be processed on the next available business payout day.
You may receive multiple deposits at once. Depending on your acquirer, several days' settlements would arrive together as one deposit or multiple deposits.
It may look a little different in your bank. The way deposits are grouped or labelled can vary from your usual view. Check your Oolio Pay dashboard if you want a clear breakdown for each trading days settlement and the transfer the amount. Allow extra time for your bank to clear funds on public holidays and weekends. After Oolio Pay processes your payout, your receiving bank may take additional time on their end.
