WPAY Terminal Digital Certificate Issue
If merchant is Unable to transact with Oolio Pay (WPAY) Pinpads generating System Error/MSG Format Error during logon
- Check Terminal Certificate Status on the Pinpad
- Press # > 2378 > Enter
If it shows Terminal Certificate Expired: Grab the Serial Number (must) and Terminal ID & Merchant ID (possible to grab from Linkly Client) - Reboot the Pinpad: press #99 and restart the terminal to attempt an automatic update. Check if Terminal Certificate changed: •Press # > 2378 > Enter
- If the issue persists:
Kindly advise the merchant that it will be escalated to acquirer and we will call them back shortly.
FOR POS BUSINESS UNITS:
- Raise a ticket to Oolio Pay with Subject:
Venue Name - Terminal Certificate Expired: Serial Number
Include the venue contact person and contact number - Flag the ticket to Oolio Pay Team/Group.
- Oolio Pay will request WPAY to reprovision the Digital Certificate from their back end.
- Once WPAY has confirmed that it has been done, Oolio Pay Member will contact the merchant to perform a Reset on the terminal and reprovision it to get back online.
To grab current TID and MID from the Pinpad:
Press #3824 > Enter
>1 to show TID
>2 to show MID
Reset Process (this clear the pinpad’s Terminal ID and Merchant ID:
Press #737381 > Leave the TID blank >Enter twice > Press the red x key for 10 secs to reboot
Upon reboot, proceed with Reprovisioning the terminal:
Press #, enter 7410 at the Password prompt and press the green O button (Enter) to start the terminal provisioning process.
Enter the Terminal ID
To do this use the yellow < button (Clear) to remove the default ID where necessary and replace it with the correct value and then press green O button (Enter).
If you see the message Switch to Integrated mode, press > the green button for Yes, or > the yellow button for No, for P400 it has to be Integrated Mode (Note: Standalone mode is not applicable for P400
The terminal may request the Merchant ID (MID). Key in the value provided by Wpay and press Enter
You may then be asked for a Passcode; press Enter the green O button (Enter) to bypass this step.
It should come up as Approved, after this step wait to check if the terminal has Oolio logo on the screen if yes wait for few minutes for it to do final checks in the backend and the terminal will reboot by itself (approx. 3-4mins).
If it does not come up as Approved :
We need to check from the Linkly GUI, if Linkly Client has picked up the TID and MID entered on the terminal, on Linkly Client GUI select Ctrl Panel>> Select EMS and Setup
If the TID and MID field is Blank, Key in the Terminal Id and Merchant Id provided and press apply if prompted password key in “7410” and select OK
Then try the above steps again
